LOCAL CRYOTHERAPY USING CARBON DIOXIDE CO2

Apparatus for Cryotherapy Cryo-T Duo in the system of carbon dioxide (CO2 in the liquid phase), allows for easy and safe dispensing of coolant. It does not require the use of liquid nitrogen (LN2). Is obtained temperature - 75°C. In contrast to all other refrigerants, carbon dioxide acts on the body in two ways:

physically :

-as a gas and cold carrier temperature of -75°C, causing vasoconstriction and the extension of the blood vessels in the second phase. By dint of the properties of carbon dioxide there is a initial reduction of the body's response to cold, ie:

* shortening stage of the vasoconstrictor site-cooled

* shortening stage slowdown of metabolic processes

Secondary reaction , ie :

- violent vasodilatation, accelerated metabolism occurs in the event of working carbon dioxide already during the session which allows a very intense cold to move deeper tissues.

Both of these factors allow for safe use in patients with cardiological problems. Using carbon dioxide cryotherapy treatments achieve a complete therapeutic effects:

- relieve pain by triggering a large dose of endorphins

- lowering activity of the inflammatory process

- loss of muscle tone

- reduction of edema

- improvement in clinical condition and functional of the patient

- by increasing the range of motion in the cooled joints and growth of muscle strength

- fast process and treatment of injuries

- Removing the sudden temperature fluctuation- mitigate the of conditions after burn injury

Pay special attention to the fact that the Cryo-T Duo allows for non-invasive treatment of spider veins.

Cryotherapy using carbon dioxide allows for safe and precise "contact" method of airflow by moving the nozzle just above the surface of the skin with the use of maximum low temperature (-75°C). Due to the above feature of apparatus Duo Cryo-T can be used successfully in:

- Injuries - fractures and bruises

- Delayed bone union

- Fresh injury

- Pseudarthrosis

- Delay the use of implants

- Burns - removing thermal shock

- Postoperative rehabilitation
