I'm a dedicated gender affirming surgeries surgeon based in Barcelona. I specialized in mastectomy, vaginoplasty, colovaginoplasty, orchiectomy, scrotoplasty and breast augmentation. I am well know for my high aesthetic standards and attention to detail specially with my signature vaginoplasties achieving the desired result with JUST ONE! surgery but what I love the most is improving patient´s life and confidence. In my personal opinion without a hint of a doubt, the best surgeon in this country. I researched for a long time search to find a surgeon for my whole transition; I found Dra. Vega. From the very beginning both, her secretary, who is wonderful and herself have treated me with respect; closeness and professionalism, caring at all times and addressing my doubts and concerns. The first surgery I did with her was in Moncloa, in Madrid and I noticed she knows how to choose the team of professionals so you feel safe and in great hands. The post-operative was surprisingly smooth and I had no pain and issues at all. There are no words to describe her greatness, I would not put myself in other hands than hers!.

Overall, it was a good experience for Colon-vaginoplasty. If I had to do it over again, I would not pick a different surgeon; she is a wonderful person and a definite ally - same with all the staff. Functionally. Everything seems to be in good recovery from the surgery was not painful - the worst part is the bed rest and just being helpless in the few days following surgery. I had a complication due to the IV, which I'll explain more below. Right now, there is still a good amount of swelling. I am told that the majora will subside over the coming months - besides that, the rest of everything looks pretty good, and I'm happy so far.
